About Henry
Henry Culberson is a life long Pawleys Island resident and talented wood worker. He was partially paralyzed five years ago in a surfing accident, and has used wood working as a form of physical and mental therapy ever since, creating countless wooden works of art.
Henry has always used wood as an art form from building homes, furniture, boats, surfboards, toys for his children and grandchildren, and everything in between.
Henry owned and operated Tongue and Groove construction, a successful flooring company, for decades until his accident. Despite his physical disability, he has returned to his hobby of woodworking and has created many works of art for his family and friends.
